I kept a bit more following distance than usual, with my eyes further up the road. For a large three-row SUV, there was no wallowing at all, even with a near-emergency input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I suspect the low center of gravity from the floor-mounted battery deserves much of the credit. Having that kind of margin &#8220;when it counts&#8221; is genuinely reassuring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two months of ownership, 8,000 km on the clock, still unscratched. The last thing I wanted was to shred a tire on a plank of wood \u2014 so, relief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Takeaways_Why_This_Dodge_Worked\"><\/span>Takeaways: Why This Dodge Worked<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back, the Model YL&#8217;s handling helped, but the bigger factor was that the warning sign had me primed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The message board planted the idea that something might be on the road<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extra following distance bought me time between spotting the plank + steering away<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With the truck blocking my view, I had already mirror-checked whether the space beside me was open<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The car responded exactly as asked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If any one of those had been missing, I would probably have hit it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following distance above all. Glued to the truck&#8217;s bumper, I would have had zero time once the plank appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It reads like a split second in text; watch the video to feel how little time there actually was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One more thought: FSD is rumored to launch in Japan soon. My car already got smarter once with its <a href=\"https:\/\/everinterest.net\/en\/tesla-modelyl-first-ota-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">first OTA update<\/a>, so I keep wondering \u2014 would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tesla.com\/support\/autopilot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tesla&#8217;s FSD<\/a> spot a plank like this, then slide around it just as smoothly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Half expectation, half excitement.
