A cheap cordless car polisher proved it had not.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rain did not bead at all, and even after a wash it had no shine. It made me a little sad every time I looked at it.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This time I finally brought the paint back to life myself, with a dirt-cheap polisher from AliExpress. class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The polisher was a compact rechargeable one I bought on AliExpress. The surface prep product is also from Bliss. I bought the two as a set.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You only need a tiny amount of this kind of coating each time. Since I only apply it about once a year, one bottle has lasted me around ten years, so it is excellent value.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Polishing_in_the_rain\"><\/span>Polishing in the rain<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_a_rainy_day_works_well\"><\/span>Why a rainy day works well<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was the last day of Japan&#8217;s Golden Week holidays, and it was raining. As it turns out, that is ideal weather for polishing outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unlike a sunny day, the body panels do not heat up<\/li>\n<li>The compound does not dry out as fast, so it is easier to work with<\/li>\n<li>There is water everywhere, so pre-rinsing is easy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If anything, it was far more comfortable than working under a blazing sun.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_1_a_quick_wash\"><\/span>Step 1: a quick wash<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I used a sponge plus the rainwater to give the roof a light wash and lift the dirt that had built up.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_2_polish_with_the_cordless_car_polisher\"><\/span>Step 2: polish with the cordless car polisher<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, I went over the whole roof with the polisher.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I worked carefully, letting it spin to take off the dullness, concentrating on the areas where water beading had completely disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"302\" src=\"https:\/\/everinterest.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/f25-roofpolish-202505.jpg\" alt=\"Polishing the roof with the cordless polisher\" class=\"wp-image-9846\" srcset=\"https:\/\/everinterest.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/f25-roofpolish-202505.jpg 450w, https:\/\/everinterest.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/f25-roofpolish-202505-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Working across the roof.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being cordless made it stress-free to use on a surface as awkward as a roof, and the battery lasted the whole job.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_3_wipe_off_then_coat\"><\/span>Step 3: wipe off, then coat<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I rinsed off the leftover compound with water while wiping with paper shop towels. The AliExpress polisher I bought on a whim did a great job too.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My F25 has done a lot of miles.
